Meet The Team

Michael Davanzo, PA-C
Chief Operation Officer

Dr. Michael Davanzo, PA-C

Michael has been a certified physician assistant for nine years, graduating from the Wake Forest University physician assistant program in 2009. He has spent the last seven years working in the emergency department, but also has experience in orthopedics and cardiology. During his career he has been the liaison between the emergency department group and the physician assistant programs at both High Point University and Wake Forest University acting as the lead preceptor. Prior to studying at Wake Forest University he received a Master of Arts in exercise and sport science and a Bachelor of Science in athletic training from East Carolina University. Michael has been married for two years and has two children. When he isn’t working he enjoys spending time with his family boating, camping, and restoring his classic mustang.

Dr. Linda Taylor, MD

Linda has been practicing Emergency Medicine for 25 years. She received her undergraduate and medical school degrees from Howard University, Washington, DC, and completed her Emergency Medicine training at Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Cleveland, OH. Throughout her career she has held multiple administrative positions including Emergency Department Medical Director for United Hospital Center, Clarksburg, West Virginia, PA/Scribe Liaison, and Vice President of Regional Emergency Physicians in High Point, North Carolina, as well as board appointments with the Hospital Board of Directors and the Hospital Endowment Board. Additionally, she has been an integral part in the development of new processes and programs such as the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner program, ED Scribe program, and a patient movement process utilizing Six Sigma Black Belt principles to name a few. She is very active in her community, and is currently on the board of directors for the Habitat for Humanity of High Point, NC. She has been married for 31 years and has four children and two grandchildren. She is an active member of the Delta Sigma Theta sorority and the Links, Incorporated, a national entrepreneur community service organization. For fun, Linda enjoys traveling with her family and friends.


Patrick Cvelic, PA-C - Chief Financial Officer

Patrick Cvelic, PA-C

After graduating from Touro College of Health Sciences with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant studies Patrick completed a Post-Graduate Surgical Residency at the prestigious Montefiore Medical Center in New York. Shortly after graduating from this residency he began working in orthopedics, but has spent the majority of his career working in the emergency department. Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant he worked in the Financial Industry on Wall Street and enjoyed several years as an Investment Consultant. While studying for his medical degree he also worked as an emergency medical technician (EMT) in the Bronx and Yonkers NY, and a certified nursing assistant (CNA). When Patrick isn't working you can usually find him with his wife and two daughters, hunting year round, or playing with his two german shepherds.
